The rebuild speed-up hands checkOneCheckin each check-in's expanded bytes and drops the pass-wide expansion cache. treeGap, from the sub-manifest reader, still lists a check-in's files to find a missing sub-manifest, and it needs a cache: without one every delta manifest re-expands its baseline. checkCheckins now keeps a small cache for those manifest reads only. |
