A cache whose image is absent or at an old layout replayed the record body on every fast_read open, since only a miss stored. The hit now serializes the image from the view it just built and stores it, so the fallback is paid once. |

The crosslink record, the state and the image now carry each check-in's Q cards (sign and target), so the cherrypick/backout line needs no manifest read. timeline: read the image, not a full derive (zit#181)
