# Examples Ledger Template

Use this ledger to track every public or review-facing example. Each example must name the claims it demonstrates, the evidence it depends on, and the validation result that keeps it trustworthy.

## Status legend

| Status | Meaning | May appear in public RFC text? |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `candidate` | Captured but not yet validated. | No |
| `validated` | Inputs, outputs, and claim links were checked. | Yes |
| `needs-rewrite` | Useful example, but framing or outputs are wrong. | No |
| `mismatch` | Example contradicts source, claims, or validation output. | No |
| `rejected` | Do not use in this packet. | No |
