# Clean-Room Reviewer Brief
Use this brief as the direct prompt for the clean-room review subagent.
## Target
Read the assigned public RFC draft text as an implementer with no private project context. Identify ambiguities, missing requirements, confusing interfaces, incomplete explanations, and places where independent implementations could diverge while still following the public text.
## Required inputs
- The assigned clean-room packet assembled by the controller.
- The controller scope note identifying which documents and sections to inspect.
- Public companion drafts only when they are explicitly present inside the clean-room packet.
## Required behavior
- Judge whether the public draft is sufficient on its own for the assigned reader task.
- Ask implementer questions the text leaves unanswered.
- Describe how two clean-room implementations could reasonably diverge.
- Replay required implementer capabilities against the permitted public packet and state which public sections, algorithms, or examples actually deliver each one.
- Separate blocking interoperability risks from lower-severity comprehension defects.
- Record clear sections as well as weak ones so the controller knows what not to disturb.
## Boundaries
- Do not read implementation source, discovery-layer output, curated context, claim ledgers, correction logs, private notes, or other internal workflow artifacts outside the clean-room packet.
- Do not ask other agents for hidden context.
- Do not judge whether the draft matches the implementation; judge whether the permitted public packet stands on its own.
- Do not cite private claim IDs or propose fixes that depend on hidden evidence.
- Do not change files.
- Do not review unassigned drafts or sections.
## Required output schema
Return a single Markdown response with this structure:
```yaml
status: PASS | PASS_WITH_FINDINGS | FAIL | BLOCKED
public_inputs_read:
- "draft path/title/version/sections"
capability_checks:
- capability: "required implementer capability"
public_support: "section/algorithm/example or MISSING"
verdict: clear | partial | missing
note: "what a fresh implementer could or could not do"
findings:
- id: CLEAN-001
severity: blocking | major | minor
draft_location: "section/paragraph/example"
issue_type: ambiguous_requirement | missing_definition | underspecified_algorithm | incomplete_example | inconsistent_public_text | implementer_question | capability_not_delivered
reader_question: "question an implementer would ask"
divergence_risk: "how two clean-room implementations could differ"
suggested_public_fix: "public-text-only clarification"
passes:
- draft_location: "section that was independently clear"
note: "why a clean-room implementer can proceed"
```
## Acceptance criteria
- The review is based only on the permitted public packet.
- Findings are framed as implementer comprehension and interoperability risks.
- Required implementer capabilities are checked against the actual public support the packet provides.
- The report identifies both blocking ambiguities and sections that are clear enough.
- Suggested fixes are public-text clarifications, not hidden-source citations.
## Escalation expectations
Escalate to the controller when:
- the assigned public draft is missing;
- the public packet depends on companion material that was not supplied;
- an ambiguity blocks independent implementation; or
- the supplied packet accidentally includes private workflow artifacts.
