# Fossil Run Artifacts
`projects/fossil/runs/` is the checked-in placeholder for Fossil-specific repo-local run output.
Use one subdirectory per execution:

- `public/` holds the public drafts and rendered public output for that run.
- `evidence/` holds the internal proof chain for that run.
- `gates/` holds PASS/FAIL records, rerun boundaries, and other stage-status artifacts.
- `logs/` is optional and holds harness-local execution notes that are not public deliverables.
Keep reusable Fossil pack inputs at the top of `projects/fossil/`. Concrete run artifacts belong only under `runs/<run-id>/`.
