projects/fossil/runs/ is the checked-in placeholder for Fossil-specific repo-local run output.
Use one subdirectory per execution:
projects/fossil/runs/<run-id>/

public/holds the public drafts and rendered public output for that run.evidence/holds the internal proof chain for that run.gates/holds PASS/FAIL records, rerun boundaries, and other stage-status artifacts.logs/is optional and holds harness-local execution notes that are not public deliverables.
Keep reusable Fossil pack inputs at the top of projects/fossil/. Concrete run artifacts belong only under runs/<run-id>/.
