# Fossil Staged Reference Material This directory is for support-only staged material used during local Fossil source/reference work, such as copied source excerpts, notes, or temporary reference bundles. `../references.md` remains the curated authoritative reference, terminology, and dependency map for the pack. It is normal for this directory to start out containing only this placeholder.
