On four flat two-commit histories zit wrote, go-libfossil reproduces every manifest byte for byte and then enables at the k zit pinned; in each the replay moves the pin off the snapshot's value, so the replay port is what is being checked. The pins are recorded for CI under testdata/zit-writer, and SM-6.3-7 states the refinement. The changelog describes the API and CLI.
